Author's note: I want to thank by betas Cynthia E. Odiorne, Tammy Lee, Esmeralda, Tara T., Birgitt Schuknecht, and Hikaru. With their help this story has gone from the bored doodles of a college student to something that is actually worth around five to ten minutes of your time. Thank you so much for all your help with the story and the encouragement. Even if I don't use it all. Thank you.

Feedback: I would love to hear from you, even if it is to tell me that I should never write again. This is my first story in this fandom and the only way that I can improve is if you tell me what is wrong. Thanks, and have a good day. :)

~dream, and don't remember who you are or what you are.~

It is a dark place. This is not the first time that I find myself here. I wonder what this place is.

What is most unnerving about this is the fact that even as I stand here I know that I am asleep.

What is that noise? It sounds like thudding from behind me somewhere. Where is that noise coming from? I'm being led somewhere, but by what? Where am I supposed to go? The landscape has morphed, what is that? A stone? I have gone through this part of the cave already. There hasn't been a stone before. What is going on? What is this? Why am I bound to this stone, I never moved. I was on the other side of this galley, I never moved. I never moved, nothing moved me, I didn't move. I NEVER...

~stay in the dream, live the dream until the dream is made real.~

"Master? Wake up, Master!"

"Obi-Wan?" This is the first time that this happens. I usually know when I'm waking up from this particular dream. Never before have I awoken this completely, this fast.

"Yes Master, it's me. Are you all right?"

"Of course. Why do you ask?"

"Well, you were thrashing around quite a bit, and I wasn't even doing anything."

"I'm fine, Obi-Wan. Don't worry about it."

"All right, I'll go and prepare breakfast."

Stranger and stranger. This is the first time that Obi-Wan has noticed my dreams or more exactly my reactions to them.

I wonder what that stone meant.

~make the dream your reality, your only reality.~

I'm back in the dream; I'm also once again bound to the stone. At least this time I was expecting it so I doubt I'll wake Obi-Wan with my thrashing.

What is that? Is that a person?

"Master?"

"Xanatos."

~dream forever more, dream and never wake, dream and forget yourself.~

I'm awake, but why? That part of the dream hadn't ended; I can feel it. What woke me? Ooh, Obi-Wan what do you do to me?

"Qui-Gon?"

"Hmm."

"Good. You are up."

"Couldn't sleep?"

"Actually no. You looked too beautiful and delicious to leave alone."

"Obi-Wan."

"Shh, no more talking. Not now."

"Obi-Wan..."

How is that you know exactly what to do to make me feel so good? You make me feel so alive. Every day I thank whomever is up there for letting me be blessed with your love. I hope to be blessed with it for a long, long time.

~dream and forget. dream and forget for all time.~

This dream again. Once again chained to the stone, Xanatos is also here. I hope that this dream ends soon, I want to get back to Obi-Wan.

"Master? Master, please! You have to get up. Please Master, open your eyes."

"Xanatos?"

"Oh, thank the Force. Come on Master, you have to get up; the ship arrives soon."

"What ship? This is just a dream."

"No Master, this is not a dream. This is reality. What ever you have experienced was just a drug induced dream."

"You are wrong. This is the dream, that is the reality."

"It wasn't real, Master. Come on. Our ship is here, we have to go before your captors come back."

A dream, a hallucination, that is all that it was. The council does not yet know who captured me, and for what purposes. No, that is not the truth. *Officially* they do not yet know who or what captured me. They unofficially believe that I was captured by the Changelings, beings that can only exist in this plane of existance by possesing a corporeal body. With the aid of some of that planet's inhabitants they drugged me and tried to capture my incorporal being in the dream world so that they could possess my body.

Obi-Wan was just a pleasant dream, and Xanatos is the one that is real, he is still my apprentice. But all of it felt so real, Obi-Wan's kisses felt so real. His touch was real, not a hallucination. The drugs they gave me allowed me to see the future and not a perpetual dream of my own making, I am sure of that. But I shall not tell the High Council that, I will let them believe that I think that it truly was a dream, yes I will. This way they won't know his name and try to impede me from ever training him. I will not force myself on him; I love him too much to do something like that.

But I will not lose any chance to make my dream real.

The End

Notes:

~dream, and don't remember who you are or what you are. stay in the dream, live the dream until the dream is made real .make the dream your reality, your only reality. dream forever more, dream and never wake, dream and forget yourself. dream and forget. dream and forget for all time.~

This is chanted over and over by qui's captors as a mantra that they have perfected over time and if used with the correct combinations of drugs it enslaves and traps a person in a world of their own making in their mind. But they didn't get the correct drugs into Qui-Gon, that's why he goes to the future instead to a made up world.
