Disclaimer: GL, our God Lucas, please don't sue this poor sinner for she has no money and did it all in good faith.

Notes: Okay, so it's a sucky title, but I couldn't think of anything better. This is sort of my latest try at non-rhyming poetry, so be aware. In most places it sounded funny to my own ears.

Summary: Post-TPM, Obi-thoughts

This lesson has ended
and oh Force how I pray for silence
to wrap a shroud around me
I should be content to have won the battle
yet the victory is hollow
The prize is paid but my debt
remains
I shall sleep no more

Where is my road?
Where is my destiny, a
fate I would embrace?
I have burned all tender bonds
to keep inside the howling
Nothing prepared me for this
All colours are grey now,
tasteless kisses and touches
Spiritless all dreams

Nothing brings you back
I've pleaded and cursed this
mocking light in vain
If I could turn from duty I would
I would
Imprinted is my soul with scars
This will be my resting place now:
this moaning peace
Thrice-blessed be hope:
when the stars are at war
I'll see you again
