Shattering Souls
drawn
far from worlds known
on the depths above the heights
we meet
undulating; slide through
past all barriers of waking flesh
merged
we become more
you, and i, and
this space between us
wrapped solid beneath our twisting limbs
twined
heat like lightning
strikes the heart, threads the veins
one beat, another, again...
paused
breathless we listen
waves lap softly at the horizon of our soul
light reflects the depths, touches
all
wakes
there is pain in separation like there never was in
dream
