Summary: A series of "photographs" and "memories" that relate to Qui-Gon. Each segment is a stand-alone piece, and they are in no certain order.

Disclaimer: These beautiful boys aren't mine, they belong to George. I'm just playing with them for a bit. I promise to put them back when I'm done. Don't sue - I've got no money. I've spent it all on seeing TPM way too many times and buying SW toys and feeding my Liam obsession.

Feedback: Oh yes, please. Good, bad or indifferent.

Author's Notes: These were inspired by the wonderful series "Snapshots: Obi-Wan Kenobi, This Is Your Life" done by Pumpkin. It is with her permission that I attempt a similar series about Qui-Gon's life. Pumpkin, thank you so much for allowing me to play in your sandbox.

Qui-Gon tried to stop his fall by grasping at the branches and rocks that tore past him, but was unable to do so. He bounced against the side of the cliff and heard a sickening crunch at the same moment bright, white pain flared through his leg. He saw the ground rushing up to meet him and then suddenly, thankfully, there was darkness.

When he finally opened his eyes he was immediately aware of two things. He was lying face down in the dirt and every bone in his body ached. He remained very still, trying to center himself against the fear and pain that threatened to engulf him.

He moved his head slightly to one side in order to breathe easier and groaned as pain exploded in his head. He hurt everywhere and couldn't stop the hot tears from spilling over.

"Master!" He tried to cry out, but only managed a whisper.

//Master!// He tried again, only this time using the training bond he shared with Yoda.

//Coming I am, young Padawan// came the instant response in his mind. He heard the rustling of brushes and could feel his Master's Force Signature nearby. He closed his eyes in relief, still unable to stop the tears.

After a few moments he felt the gentle, healing touch of his Master and he opened his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Master," he ground out.

"Hmph. Nothing to be sorry for you have," answered the little, green Master as he continued to send healing waves around and through his apprentice. "Told you I did your legs too long are. If short legs you had, try to jump canyon without Force you would not. Learned lesson you did?"

"Yes, Master," the young boy said. "I will listen to you next time."

"Know this I do. Good Padawan Learner you are. Mistakes you may make, but learn from them always you do. Proud of you I am Qui-Gon Jinn."

Qui-Gon felt much love and affection coming from the old Master as Yoda helped him into a healing trance.
