My master - in childish lessons, years of teaching,
My father, brother, friend - till one day I looked up
And saw the love that slumbered, buried in your
Deep blue eyes. I lost - that day I gave my life and
Soul to you - no less than you deserved, yet so little
For all the love and joy you graced my heart with
In those too short years we spent together.

My master, keeper of my being, guardian of
My passions, sweetest dreams and heartfelt trust,
Your loss ripped pieces of my life from me - I am
Wondering at standing here, in front of the pyre,
So empty in my flesh, so cold and lonely I scarce
Seem to exist. My better part burns with you, the
Love I only gave to you, cannot ever give again.

My eyes, blind with unshed tears see a hazy
Mass of thoughts, promises and responsibilities
Pass by; I will fulfil my calling, meet my destiny -
But live - no, never live without you - my master,
Oh, my love.
