Summary: A series of short snippets, all from Qui-Gon's POV, focusing on his love for Obi-Wan, and their relationship.

Disclaimer: These beautiful boys aren't mine, they belong to George. I'm just playing with them for a bit. I promise to put them back when I'm done. Don't sue - I've got no money. I've spent it all on seeing TPM way too many times and buying SW toys and feeding my Liam obsession.

Feedback: Oh yes, please. Good, bad or indifferent.

This one hasn't been betad. You've been warned.

I was the one who found the surprise this time. After spending a couple of hours with Obi-Wan in the holo room, watching him playing various hologames, I decided to spend some time with my new friends. The books in the library.

While browsing through the various titles, I stumbled upon a very special find. Entitled 'Sex and Sensuality', it was a beautiful book. Written a long time ago, it detailed human sexuality. The pages were thick and glossy, and it was filled with stories, poems, advice, and techniques. The illustrations were exquisite, each one hand drawn and beautifully painted. This was not a book that was massed produced, of that I was certain.

As I looked through it, I found a note stuck between two of the pages. Hand written in Basic, the note read:

To our Jedi Friends;
If you had not found this book before you left, you would have been gifted with it upon your departure from our world. We understand the Jedi are not allowed to accept gifts, but we hope an exception will be made, as it is our sincerest desire for the two of you to have it. Please accept it as a small token of our sincere appreciation for participating in our most revered of ceremonies.

With our respect,
The people of MMoM

I was stunned. Surely this book must be worth a fortune. I stood there a long time, just looking at it, trying to decide what to do. Of course the Code prohibits the acceptance of gifts during missions. But that was to ensure the Jedi could never be suspected of playing favorites. I felt, under the circumstances, that it would be appropriate to keep this one thing, this one time.

Mind made up, I began planning our evening. I wasn't going to show it to Obi-Wan just yet. This was too special. I wanted everything to be perfect when I shared it with him.

"Why don't you take a bath, and I'll clean up," I told him, as we were finishing with third meal. "And then, if you'd like, perhaps we can share some wine in front of the garden."

He looked over at me and smiled. "Sounds perfect," he said. "A moonlit night, good wine and you. I can't think of anything I'd like more."

As soon as he went into the fresher, I went to work. I pulled the blanket from our bed, and laid it out in front of the window in the exercise room. I touched the spot on the window, and the room was soon filled with the sounds from our garden. I brought in some candles and scattered them around the room, and then I got the book from the library. The last thing I did was take the carafe of wine from the cooling unit and two glasses, and put them by the blanket. Looking around, I was quite pleased with the ambiance I'd created.

Obi-Wan's smile when he walked into the room told me he was just as pleased as I was. Wearing only a pair of loose fitting leggings, he was beautiful in the flickering candlelight. He walked towards me, his face glowing with happiness, as he took in our surroundings.

"This is great!" he said, as he sat down beside me. "What a perfect way to end the day."

"I'm glad you like it," I said, pouring the wine.

We sat in silence for awhile, enjoying the view and the sounds of the night. The wine was good and the company could not have been better. It was so peaceful just sitting there with him, that I briefly considered saving the book for another time. But it was such a wonderful gift, that I decided not to wait after all.

"I have a surprise for you," I told him, reaching for the book.

"Another one?" he asked, grinning at me.

I handed him the book, and he looked at me, a bit puzzled. After all, I was the one with the book obsession. "Look at it," I urged him.

"Sex and Sensuality?" he asked, trying not to laugh. "Are you trying to tell me something?"

"Look at it," I repeated.

He opened the book and then gasped softly. "This is beautiful," he whispered, his voice filled with awe. He turned over another page and I could feel his wonder through our bond. "Where did you get this?" he asked, never taking his eyes from the book.

"In the library," I said, leaning over to look at it with him. "And there's more."

"More?" He looked up at me, and I knew I was smiling like a fool, but couldn't help myself.

I showed him the note, and watched the smile spread across his face as he read it. "We are going to keep it, aren't we?" He sounded almost childlike, and I was thrilled with his response.

"Of course, we are," I told him, leaning over to give him a quick kiss. "I think, given the circumstances, it would be considered quite rude to refuse."

And that is how we spent our evening, drinking wine and looking through the book. And it is a memory I will forever treasure.

Later, we put the book aside and held each. Whispering words of love and devotion, between kissing and cuddling, we masturbated together.

We have just a few days left here on MMoM, and I have a feeling we'll be exploring the book in depth a time or two before we leave. And I'm certain it will bring us a great deal of pleasure, both here and at home.
