Summary: A series of short snippets, all from Qui-Gon's POV, focusing on his love for Obi-Wan, and their relationship.

Disclaimer: These beautiful boys aren't mine, they belong to George. I'm just playing with them for a bit. I promise to put them back when I'm done. Don't sue - I've got no money. I've spent it all on seeing TPM way too many times and buying SW toys and feeding my Liam obsession.

Feedback: Oh yes, please. Good, bad or indifferent.

This one hasn't been betad - you've been warned.

He is an amazing young man, my Obi-Wan.

During the day or while on missions, he is my obedient and serious Padawan. Hard working, bright, willing to learn . . . I could not ask for anything more of him or from him. But in the privacy of our quarters, or when given a bit of downtime, he shrugs off the role of my Padawan as easily as he shrugs off his robes, and in the space of a heartbeat, he takes on the role of my lover. He is, by turns, enthusiastic, fun, daring, inventive, mischievous, sexy and romantic.

What a gift the Force has given me in allowing me to share my life with this incredible young man. My Obi-Wan, my Padawan, my lover, my friend, my life-mate. I am truly Force-blessed.

It can be very difficult for either individual when a Master and Padawan become intimate. The warnings and concerns expressed in the Code are justifiable, and I certainly can understand why this step cannot be undertaken unless and until it is sanctioned by the Council. Even then it sometimes does not work out well, and the results can be devastating.

I will not, at any cost, jeopardize Obi-Wan's training. He will be a Jedi Knight one day, and will be one of the strongest the Order has ever seen.

It is for that reason I continue to allow our bond to be examined by the Council, even though they no longer require it of us. Obi-Wan is equally willing to undergo the tiresome and at times, embarrassing probes, as members of the Council search for any signs of abuse.

My concern is not for Obi-Wan, but for myself.

I love him with all of my being, and must constantly be on guard to stop myself from treating him like my lover when I am supposed to be his Master. It is a difficult balance, but so very, very important. I spend many hours on my knees, deep in meditation on this very thing.

And yet each time we make love, our bond deepens, grows stronger. A sure sign we are following the will of the Force.

He is an amazing young man, my Obi-Wan.
