One fluid motion broken
And expelled into the
Shards of wasted time.
Two bodies striking at
The same old nightmare
Attempting to drive chaos
Out of their world and
Obliterate impending tendrils
Of destruction.

But anger and aggression
Triumph in hollow victory
Over calm righteousness as
Destiny witnesses the passing
Of the one into the Force
Leaving the other to thrive in
His own doomed fate, taking
His place in the circle of endless
Give and take in tune and balance
With the last goodbye of lovers.
