Snoring lightly, the young Obi-Wan's arm lay draped tenderly across Qui-Gon's chest. The older Jedi smiled. The young man was deep in sleep. Qui-Gon turned slowly and looked at the young Padawan sleeping. In the depth of his slumber, the young Jedi wasn't aware he was pressed so closely to his master's body. Rippling the force around him, Qui-Gon could feel the heat and the scent of the young man's body as it pressed next to him.

After having taken a long shower, Obi-Wan had finally come to bed. He had put on more bedclothes than necessary. No amount of clothing could hide the young Jedi's 18 yr old body. Even as the Obi-Wan lay sleeping, his body was traitorous. Qui-Gon could feel the Padawan's manhood pressed against his hip.

As he slept, Obi-Wan began to mumble. Then, he began to rub against his Master's body. Qui-Gon took a deep breath and contemplated the situation. If he woke the boy, it would embarrass the young man needlessly. The older Jedi needed the boy's mind and his spirit to be at peace if there was to be any hope in their helping to resolve the dispute between Baldur and its twin planet Alfadur.

Qui-Gon closed his eyes and waved his hand softly over the sleeping boy's face. He concentrated the Force to keep the young Jedi in his deep dream state. The Master watched the boy's face. The full sensuous lips of Obi-Wan were pursed together, mimicking a kiss. The young Padawan continued to rub his body up against his Master's. Qui-Gon laid still and allowed the young man to use him for his relief. He would, after all, believe it was another nocturnal emission. It took all the training and determination that Qui-Gon could muster to keep him from grabbing. The older man knew the moment for such a thing was not right. A Master couldn't force himself in such an intimate way upon a student. The beginning of a sexual relationship had to be something the young Padawan agreed upon. A Padawan must never feel forced or coerced into such a relationship. That step had to be reached mutually and with the Padawan's explicit consent.

Qui-Gon could tell the young Padawan was near climax. He could sense the boy's increased heartbeat and breathing. The Force was great during heightened sexual peaks. Obi-Wan began to whimper and tightened his grip around his Master's chest. The thrusts of his manhood grew faster. Qui-Gon wondered what dream could have brought his young serious Jedi to such sexual abandonment? He then felt the boy shiver.

Then he felt the warm growing wetness of the boy's release. Qui-Gon continued to manipulate the force over the boy to insure that he would continue to sleep until morning.

The Master got out of the bed and quickly entered the bathroom. He stood before the mirror and shook his head. This wouldn't be so hard if his own emotions weren't clouding his mind.

An hour later, young Obi-Wan Kenobi began to wake up. He slowly opened his eyes. Suddenly, he sat up in the bed and put his hand down upon his crotch. He was wet. It hadn't been a dream. He had another nocturnal emission, and this time he hadn't been alone. On the other hand, had he been?

Obi-Wan could only pray to the Force that his Master had risen before his little 'accident'. He knew he could not face such an embarrassment. Obi-Wan quickly got out of bed and prepared himself for his second day upon the ship Absyrtus.

After having their first meal of the day, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan walked along the corridors of the ship. They nodded to the passing Calydonian crewmembers.

"Listen carefully my young Padawan, I think it is time you knew more about our mission".

"Yes, Master." Obi-Wan walked in step with his Master. His hands in the large open sleeves and yet they were only a blink away from his light saber.

"We are on our way to the planet Baldur. The planet is being ruled by King Aby'dos. However, it has a twin planet called Alfadur. A monarch called, King Clotho is sovereign of that planet. Both these planets share a moon called Ymir. There has been peace among both planets for over 1000 years. This harmony between them has existed because both royal families have been related by marriage. Nevertheless, for the last century or so that link has been weak because each King has born only girls and no sons. Now finally both King Aby'dos and King Clotho each have a son to once more restore the marriage link that keeps them at peace. Yet, according to the Baldur ambassador who brought the issue to the Jedi Council, that link has collapsed. Somehow, the marriage link has turned to talk of war, and we are being sent to prevent that from happening. We must find out what happened; resolve it, and restore centuries of peace to these two planets."

"Master, you said that both Kings have borne sons and therefore enabled the marriage link. Why are the sons important to the issue? Why not their daughters?"

"Custom of the Baldur/Alfadur planets is the marriage between princes. Prince Boreas, son of Aby'dos, is betrothed to Prince Dardanus, son of King Clotho, because that is their custom." Qui-Gon could feel the rise of Obi-Wan's sudden apprehension. "Is there something wrong Padawan? Does this mission for some reason trouble you?" "No Master, I am just sometimes so amazed at the different customs among the many planetary systems in the galaxy. I was raised inside the Jedi Temple, and therefore a bit shut off from the world. "

"As Jedi we must learn to accept that which is different. We must be of open heart and open mind young Padawan."

"Yes, Master."

"You are essential for this mission Obi-Wan because the Princes are both young and near your age. They will probably feel more comfortable in confiding in you. It might enable us find out what the problem is and find a quick resolution."

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan were suddenly interrupted by a crewmember.

The Calydonian bowed to both Jedi. "Greetings, I am here to invite you both to our crew lounge. There will be a feast and recital in your honor."

Qui-Gon bowed, "we shall be honored by your hospitality". Obi-Wan bowed also and smiled to the Calydonian.

Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon followed the humanoid and soon arrived at the crew lounge area. The room's walls were covered in mirrors. There was a large table where Calydonian customary food and drinks were being served. Qui-Gon smiled to his Padawan and nudged him to mingle and enjoy this respite before getting to Baldur.

Obi-Wan walked over to the drink area and got himself some Yama wine. It was a sweet and floral tasting wine. It had a sharp potency and Obi-Wan could feel its effects immediately. He was not used to mind/body altering substances.

The young Jedi turned to look at himself in the mirror. He looked at his face and suddenly stuck his tongue out at his reflection. A small giggle reached his ears. It had come from across the room.

A young Calydonian crew member walked over to him.

"Why did you make that face? It was quite amusing, will you do it again please?"

"Thank you for the complement, but I believe it was the delicious Yama wine that induced me to such facial expression." Obi-Wan said and hoped he hadn't offended the man.

The Calydonian looked at himself in the mirror nearest him and began to make the same expression as Obi-Wan had done. Both young men began to laugh. Obi-Wan couldn't remember the last time he chuckled over anything as silly as making faces.

"You are even prettier when you laugh Jedi."

Obi-Wan froze but remained composed. He needed to remember that the Calydonians were a vain race. For any of them to give another race, such a complement was considered the zenith of gratitude and graciousness. "Thank you very much. You are very pretty also." Obi-Wan said, knowing he was required to return the gesture.

"I am called Verdandi. Would you like to see my garden? I was allowed to bring back a few flowers from Calydones. We have the most beautiful flowers in the universe."

Obi-Wan bowed, "I will be honored. Let me inform my Master before we leave."

Qui-Gon was chatting with a few of the crewmembers when his young apprentice approached him.

"Master, my new friend Verdandi has asked me to come see his flower collection. With your permission?" Obi-Wan asked, hoping that his Master wouldn't grant it. Besides, he was beginning to get a strange 'feeling' about his new friend, and being alone with him only heightened the feeling.

Qui-Gon could feel his Padawan's apprehension but figured this was a necessary experience for the young man. "Permission granted Obi-Wan. Enjoy yourself. I will speak to you later."

Obi-Wan was about to say something when he felt a hand encircle his own.

"Come along Obi-Wan, your Master has granted you permission." Verdandi said and pulled the young Jedi out the lounge door. Qui-Gon watched the reluctant boy leave but smiled knowing a good time was probably going to be had.
